Our upscale salon in Wayne NJ is looking to add a friendly, outgoing and professional front desk coordinator to our outstanding team. We are currently looking for someone to provide excellent services to guests who come in to our salon/spa as well as provide guidance and assistance with retail products. This person should take pride in his/her own appearance and well-being and believes learning never ends. You should have a background in sales, retail and must have experience in the salon or spa industry.

Knowledge of Millennium software is a plus.

-Willing to work flexible schedules including Saturdays, evenings, and some holidays

-Ability to multitask, and maintains strong time management and interpersonal skills
-Strong listening, learning, computer, and retail skills

Job duties include:

Scheduling guest salon and spa services while implementing proper procedures
Greeting guests and escorting to waiting area
Educating guests on services
Maximize books for each service professional in a fair and consistent manner
Closing retail sales and encourage guests to pre-book services
Confirming appointments
Informing service professionals of daily schedules and or adjustments
Responsibility for balancing and checking register drawer
Interacts with other team members and management, involving the utmost in professionalism and team work
